Looking at criticism

Vol. 20 No. 5 November 2000

Most critics of homœopathy can be dismissed as blinkerdly biased or majorly misinformed. This issue has two articles presenting critics’ views worthy of serious consideration – the overview of the book Homœopathy: A Critical Appraisal, and the valuable comments of the New Zealand homœopath Liston Bateson (on pages 2 and 7 respectively).I am grateful that Mr Bateson took the time to write for Homœopathica, and touched that he declined an offer to pay for his work. I would also like to express thanks to Sue Muller for drawing Homœopathy: A Critical Appraisal to my attention and facilitating access to the excerpts incorporated in the article in this issue. Thank you both.

Comments from readers on matters raised in this issue would be much appreciated . . . please contribute.
